Dr Kylee Trevillion
PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR

Picture
Kylee Trevillion is the lead investigator of the RIVA research programme. She is a Senior Lecturer at King’s College London, specialising in research on violence and abuse and perinatal mental health. She has worked in academia for 17 years and is passionate about improving people's experience of health care services. When she is not working, she is busy running around after her two young children and pet house rabbit. 
Dr Jill Domoney
RESEARCH CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Jill is a Research Clinical Psychologist in the Section of Women’s Mental Health at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London. She specialises in perinatal mental health and the links between mental health and violence. Her research to date has included developing interventions for antenatal depression, evaluating interventions for pregnant couples where there is domestic violence, and exploring the ways that sexual assault referral centres respond to mental health needs. Within the RIVA study, Jill leads data collection at one of the research sites and is the main contact for the Patient and Public Involvement group.
Dr Hayley Alderson
SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW

Hayley Alderson is a Senior Research Fellow in the Children and Families theme of the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) North East and North Cumbria (NENC).
Prior to academia, Hayley worked as a practitioner for 12 years within substance misuse services across criminal justice and voluntary third sector organisation. Hayley’s research has a strong focus upon translational research which is driven by a commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and families.
Anjuli Kaul
RESEARCH ASSISTANT

Anjuli is a research assistant at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King’s College London and a PhD student at UCL.  She has worked on multiple grants including the UKRI Violence, Abuse and Mental Health Network, the Modern Slavery Core Outcomes Set (MS-COS) and NIHR RIVA project.  Her research focuses primarily on the interplay between domestic and sexual violence and mental health.
Dr Camilla Forbes
RESEARCH FELLOW

Camilla Forbes is a Research Fellow for the NIHR South West Peninsula Applied Research Collaboration (PenARC) specialising in Child and Maternity Health. This programme of research seeks to find effective ways to implement evidence-based interventions to improve children’s health and maternity services widely across England by supporting implementation studies.  The RIVA study is one of the prioritised implementation projects and Camilla's role has been as the researcher based in the Southwest.
Dr ​Gilda Spaducci
RESEARCH ASSISTANT

Picture
Gilda is a former KCL PhD student and now Senior Research for the UK government. Gilda's academic research focuses on improving service responses to racialised women who have experienced sexual violence. She is experienced in using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Our Public Members

Our study has a dedicated patient and public involvement group that meets at regular intervals to:
1) Support the oversight of the project 
2) Co-produce study materials, communications and project outputs
3) Support the interpretation of findings
4) Support the dissemination of findings
